Terms and Conditions - Winter 2020 Mindfulness Meditation and Compassion Drop-in Classes
The course is only suitable for those aged 18 years and over.
The information that you disclose is at your own discretion.
Please let me know if there is any information about you that I should take in to account when considering your application but that you would prefer to speak to me about in person.
Understanding the nature of the course
In order for you to obtain the most from the course it is recommended that you attend each of the eight sessions.
As an essential part of the learning you will be encouraged to meditate on a daily basis. You will benefit more from the course if you are able to do this, however this is entirely up to you.
Your safety and comfort
It is important for you to be aware that learning mindfulness meditation can be emotionally challenging at times and for some people.
By booking your place on the course you agree to take responsibility for your own health and wellbeing and to work within your physical and emotional limitations over the eight-week period.
Mindfulness is neither a therapy nor a treatment and is not suitable for people who are very distressed, in crisis, or those in the acute phase of any medical or psychiatric illness. If things change with your mental or physical wellbeing whilst you are taking the course please let me know.
Please be aware that if there are concerns about your suitability you may be declined a place on the course.
I have professional indemnity insurance for my mindfulness and therapeutic work.
I possess a current disclosures and barring form (CRB check).
Any information disclosed either on the application form or in person to me will remain confidential in accordance with the code of conduct for Chartered members of the British Psychological Society.
Fees and payment
All fees must be received prior to the start of the course.
Payment can be made using an online bank transfer. Please let me know if you would like to pay using an alternative method.

Once payment has been made there are no refunds unless, after the 1-1 telephone interview, it is thought that the course is not suitable for you.
