Terms and Conditions - Spring 2020 Mindfulness Meditation and Compassion Online Classes
The classes are only suitable for those aged 18 years and over.
The information that you disclose in the online class in the presence of the other participants is at your discretion.
Please let me know if there is any information about you that I should take in to account when considering your application but that you would prefer to speak to me about in person.
Your safety and comfort
It is important for you to be aware that mindfulness meditation can be emotionally challenging at times and for some people.
When attending the online classes you agree to take responsibility for your own health and wellbeing and to work within your physical and emotional limitations.
Mindfulness is neither a therapy nor a treatment and is not suitable for people who are very distressed, in crisis, or those in the acute phase of any medical or psychiatric illness. If any of these things apply to you please do not register for the online class.
Please be aware that if there are concerns about your suitability you may be declined a place.
I have professional indemnity insurance for my mindfulness and therapeutic work.
I am registered with the disclosures and barring update service (CRB check).
Any information disclosed in person to me will remain confidential in accordance with the code of conduct for Chartered members of the British Psychological Society.
Fees and payment
Payment for the online class is currently by donation.
Payment can be made using an online bank transfer and details will be sent to you once you have registered.
Cancellations and refunds
Once a donation has been made for a class there are no refunds.
